Grease and flour three 9-in. baking pans. [Or use a 9 x 13 in. cake pan along with a 6 in. pan for the extra batter.] Preheat oven to 350.
Measure in a large bowl:
- 3 C. Flour
- 3 C. Sugar
- 1/2 C. Nestle Baking Cocoa
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ C. Crisco vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 3 C. boiling water
Beat the ingredients listed above on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pans.
Finally add 1 C. Nestle Semi-sweet Morsels, dropping them into the batter already in the pan(s).
Bake for about 35 minutes or until done.
